Taken with a great camera that I borrowed from my friend on a shaky tripod, but hey ;-)

HDR from 3 exposures (1, 2 and 3s), morphed together using Photomatix. Slight corrections in Gimp and RawTherapee.

I didn't really like my first try of that Gendarmenmarkt panorama, it was badly stitched, which was visible especially on the ground, and a little too dark.

Here I've used longer exposed photos and set most of the control points in hugin manually, especially taking care of the ground. It's still far from being perfect, though I like this one a little better than the old one. I'm not sure if I should have saturated the colors a bit more.

I'd like to have done this HDR, unfortunately that camera is much too noisy for that.

The original size is also available and looks much cooler ;-)

Panorama at the Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin during the Festival of Lights.

Shot in jpeg, 9 0.5s exposures. Stitched together using the hugin frontend to autopan-sift-C. Finally bended the image in gimp and improved the colors a bit.
